SeeYourHotel is an application that integrates Google Maps for viewing hotels and the hotel sites for reservations. By using this app, people can see the actual location of the hotel as well as the surrounding area prior to making reservations.

While the app has apparently been online for several years, there is little information available about the founders, history, or traffic.

By providing Google map integration, users can see hotels and surrounding areas so that there are no surprises upon arriving at the chosen destination.

It is simple to begin using SeeYourHotel. Users may enter a destination in the box provided. Once entered, the map may be manipulated to view results. Orange pins denote hotels and breakfast inns and blue represent landmarks.

When a hotel is chosen, a window opens up with several options. Hotel details, availability, photos, GoogleMaps Streetview, videos, and reviews can all be accessed. The availability tab presents options for arrival and departure dates. The resulting list provides “Book Now” options which redirect the user to a new tab where they provide information to book the room at the rate listed.

The downside of this app is that the window that opens for viewing photos and streetview is small and cannot be expanded. This makes for difficult navigation and manipulation of the Google Map.

No registration is necessary to use SeeYourHotel.

There are no fees to use the site, but it is not noted whether there are fees tacked onto the hotel booking fees.

Travelers who wish to visualize the exact location and surrounding areas when choosing hotel accommodations will find this application useful.
